The SmallRig 4772 HawkLock Quick Release Half Cage for Sony FX3/ FX30 is designed to protect the camera and provide attachment points for accessories. The modular cage consists of a top plate (NATO rail) and an L-shaped cage.

NATO rail
The NATO rail is secured at the top with two 1/4"-20 screws and removed to install the original XLR top handle. The L-shaped cage is secured with a 1/4"-20 screw on the left side and at the bottom to prevent twisting, with a cushion against scratching. 
Hawlock
The patented self-developed quick-coupling structure (called HawkLock) covers the cold shoe, NATO rail and Arca-Swiss plate. It is used in combination with HawkLock eco accessories to slide in smoothly and self-lock for more efficient disassembly and assembly. 
Multiple attachment points
The cage is also compatible with traditional cold shoe, NATO Clamp and Arca-Swiss Clamp eco accessories. In addition, the cage has built-in 1/4"-20 screw holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating hole, 1/4"-20 locating holes, QD socket and strap slot, and can be expanded with accessories for professional creations. A magnetic key is also included for easy mounting and dismounting.
